Charles Dent, of Hyattsville, was found wounded from gunfire as officers responded to the shooting report near the 1800 block of Metzerott Road in Adelphi around 6:45 p.m. Saturday, March 23.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify a suspect(s).
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
